Nissan 550 V6 intercooler upgrade. Here at Jonny Tig we didn’t want to just simply design a feeble replacement for the commonly failing OEM Nissan intercooler. We started off on the drawing board with the largest most efficient intercooler system available for the 550. Again using our latest generation lightweight European tube and fin core we have engineered a massive 660mm x 300mm x 76mm core into the factory position on the 550. Thus making it the largest cooler option available, along with the latest technology core probably the most efficient unit for the 550 bar none. The tanks have been refined to deliver exceptional flow to the core and are fabricated in house from lightweight 3mm sheet. The piping didn’t get a chance either with us developing alloy mandrel bent piping for hot and cold sides considerably increasing flow rates. The 550’s turbo V6 needs a lot of airflow and we have achieved something only other manufacturers could dream of. We have also designed a billet CNC turbo adapter to fit on the outlet of the turbo which is included in the kit. All silicone, clamps, mounting brackets are included in this comprehensive kit.
