Hi guys, for all of you that do your own 1h* timing belts, I have had these cam sprocket spanners made up. If you need to re-time the cam or hold the cam while undoing/doing up the cam sprocket bolt when changing the seal behind it, this spanner saves you having to remove the rocker cover, air crossover or intercooler piping to gain access to and hold the cam with a spanner/shifter. Or even run the risk of using a filter strap (which we’ve all probably done) to hold the sprocket and risk the cam turning and damaging valves/pistons. You can use a 1/2 inch breaker bar to hold the cam spanner. If you’re interested, please pm me for more details. They are made from laser cut 8mm steel and black powder coated.
